Most people who have used our Ares free download will probably have stuck to the original and default skin that you see in Ares Galaxy. There’s nothing wrong with this, it’s actually one of the most preferred anyway so it doesn’t make a huge difference. However, we do need to let you know that there are quite a few other skins that you can choose from which will customize the appearance of the software which could look better for you when you’re completing an Ares download. In this article, we’re going to be describing some of the themes that are built into Ares Galaxy, that you can use simply by changing 1 option. Let’s start by looking through the list.
Bloody – This is a skin that, as you might expect, is very red. This is a good one to choose if you really like this colour although as you’ll admit, it isn’t the most stylish in our Ares free download. Having said that, it does make it easier to read the options as the colors really do contrast and stand out, making it a lot better for you. This is the first skin in the list that you’ll find so we do recommend that you go ahead and look at the other ones in the list so that you can make a fully informed decision about which skin you want to use.
Borravino – This is probably one of the most stylish skins that are available for Ares Galaxy in our opinion. There’s a contrasting purple colour scheme which really does look great, especially when you look at the navigation menu. The problem with recommending a skin is that it mainly comes down to your personal preferences about which style you’d rather have. This is why we’d always recommend that you sort through the list yourself to find which Ares skin is best for you instead of simply following our recommendations.
Esmeralda – Green can be a nice colour to use in some cases but we don’t really think it fits in our Ares free download. It’s there because a small number of people may prefer to use this and there’s nothing wrong with that, but it’s definitely not to our taste. You shouldn’t be ashamed if you want to use this though as it is saved only on your computer and isn’t sent anywhere else. You can simply change it again very quickly if you get bored of it too so it’s not like you’re tied into your decision.
General – This is actually one of the oldest themes available for our Ares download, which isn’t a bad thing. It’s very simple and mutual so a lot of people will probably choose to use this but it isn’t the default one. The colors are very dark but they contrast very well to the menus, options and downloads which makes it easy on the eyes and isn’t actually very bright. It was created in 2007 and is still actively used by millions of users around the world who have our Ares free download installed onto their systems.
Mac – As you probably already know, our Ares download isn’t currently available on the Mac operating system. This is mainly because the libraries needed to use the download technology aren’t available in this format which makes it very difficult to provide the full user experience on the Mac operating system. However, you can run it on Windows and you can even choose a Mac styled skin as you can see from this option. It’s very sleek and does a fairly good job of replicating what it might look like on this operating system even if the software doesn’t work on it at the moment.
OsThemes – We’ve come down to the latest available Ares Galaxy skin, this is the default one that every user of our Ares free download will be using when they first install the software and open it on their system. Most users will stick to this simply because they don’t know it’s possible to change it to something else. We’ll explain how to very soon. There’s a lot more images used in this skin than the others so if this is something you’re into, the default one might actually be your best option.
We’ve now talked about all of the different Ares Galaxy skins that are available for use at the moment.
